Learning Paths

Don't know where to start or what course to take next? Let us make it really simple for you.

Front-end Path

Every web or mobile application has 2 parts: a front-end and a back-end. The front-end is what the user sees and interacts with. It’s the app on your phone or the website you visit. So, front-end developers are in charge of building beautiful, interactive user interfaces.

The average salary for a front-end Developer is $102,768 per year in the United States. As a front-end developer, you should know HTML, CSS, JavaScript and at least one of the popular JavaScript frameworks/libraries that are used for building client apps, including Angular, React and Vue.

Back-end Path

Every web or mobile application has 2 parts: a front-end and a back-end. The front-end is what the user sees and interacts with. It’s the app on your phone or the website you visit. But the front-end is only the surface. All the data is stored and processed on the back-end.

So, back-end developers are in charge of anything that powers the front-end, including working with databases, building web services/APIs, integration with other apps (eg Facebook, Twitter, etc), implementing business rules and workflows, etc.

Build anything on android

Android Developer Fundamentals (Java)

There are a number of ways to create apps for Android devices, but the recommended method for most developers is to write native apps using Java and the Android SDK. Java for Android apps is both similar and quite different from other types of Java applications.

New! Android Kotlin Fundamentals

Kotlin is a great fit for developing Android applications, bringing all of the advantages of a modern language to the Android platform without introducing any new restrictions: ... Interoperability: Kotlin is 100% interoperable with Java, allowing to use all existing Android libraries in a Kotlin application.

Advanced Android Development (Java)

Android is an open source mobile operating system built on Linux that isn't hard to break into. Android development is not too radically different from developing in Java in a regular environment. One way to look at Android development is to see it as an advanced version of Java development.
